The Tweed Coast's favourite family holiday destination is in the running to take out one of Australia's top Tourism awards.

Tweed Holiday Parks Kingscliff Beach, has been shortlisted as a finalist to win an award in the Caravan and Holiday Parks category at the NSW Tourism Awards*, hosted at Sydney's Luna Park this Thursday night (22nd of November 2018).

Excitement has peaked for the Kingscliff Beach park. Already this year they've taken home awards for ˜Best of the Best NSW Holiday Park' and theBest Holiday Park North Coast' at the 2018 Caravan and Camping Industry Association (CCIA*) NSW Awards of Excellence.

Tweed Holiday Parks Kingscliff Beach underwent a major 14-month $7.5 million redevelopment project. This project was completed in March this year. The redevelopment was part of a $21.2 million Kingscliff Foreshore Revitalisation project to enhance and protect the foreshore. This project saw the holiday park undergo a complete transformation into a modern accommodation provider with a high standard of quality to complement their high-quality customer service demands.

Unit Coordinator Andrew Illingworth said we are humbled by the nomination. The Tweed Holiday Parks' Kingscliff Beach acknowledgement for this award reinforces the hard work and dedication by all that went into reopening the Park this year, he says.

The redevelopment has allowed Tweed Holiday Parks to better utilise its iconic location in Kingscliff Beach and the natural environment to meet current market expectations for onsite accommodation in a modern Holiday Park and to capture new markets.

Due to the recently completed renovations, Tweed Holiday Parks Kingscliff Beach is now equipped with accessible facilities, a spacious and modern camp kitchen, BBQ areas and amenities block. The cabin interiors boast a peaceful and serene aesthetic, with beautiful pieces selected and styled by Tailored Space Interiors.
