There is an abundance of great activities and new experiences to be had right on the doorstep of our seven holiday parks, and with the Easter school holidays just around the corner we are helping you take the chore out of entertaining the kids with our 6 top school holiday activities. There is something for all kids – even the big kids at heart!

Aboriginal and Islander didgeridoo and dancers perform in daily shows, plus there is the Green Challenge Adventure Parc, an exhilarating 65 challenge tree-tops ropes course, Wild Island - the fun-filled outdoor adventure playground and interactive science activity zone and the Wildlife Hospital precinct. Only a short drive from our holiday parks, you will experience a ‘koala-ity’ day out for all ages!
2. Take a tour to Catch a Crab
Set off aboard a Tweed River cruise with multi award winning Catch a Crab tours. Take in stunning waterways and all manner of fishing fun. Haul in crabs, cooked fresh on board, hand-feed wild pelicans, pump for yabbies or try your hand at fishing. You’ll also visit a working oyster farm, where Sydney Rock Oysters are grown and shucked, and at the Lakeside Cafe, fresh crab and seafood dishes are chef-prepared to order. An unforgettable Australian outdoor lifestyle experience for the whole family.
3. Fuel creativity with Clay- play
Directly across the road from our Kingscliff Beach holiday park, Stone Studio combines barista-made coffee and locally baked goods with a vibrant pottery studio running workshops for children and adults. Kids can create trinket pots or clay monsters while learning basic techniques and unleashing some creative energy. There are also take-away pottery kits available with clay, tools and accessories and easy how-to videos. Roll up your sleeves and let the creative in your kids explode!
4. Farm tour at Tropical Fruit World
More than a tourist attraction, and more than a commercial farm, Tropical Fruit World is a labor of love. At Tropical Fruit World you’ll have a window into farming life and observe how a family farm manages to operate completely in harmony with its surroundings. Explore the in-house nursery, a retail shop with homemade products and shop for fresh produce at the onsite fruit market. Don’t miss the fully guided plantation tractor tour, exotic fruit tasting, wildlife boat cruise or animal park on your visit. Book your stay at our Tweed Heads Holiday Park this Easter holidays, and you will have the chance to go in the running to win a family day pass to this very special place!
5. Fly through the air and bounce off the walls
Bounce Inc Trampoline Park Gold Coast in Burleigh Waters is Australia’s biggest indoor action-adventure playground! The massive indoor trampoline park is all about jumping high and landing soft and safe. Bounce takes the rush of getting airborne and adds a bunch of new dimensions, including Free-Jumping, Slam Dunk, The Wall, The Big Bag and Dodgeball. Cut loose in the Free-Jump arena or battle for bragging rights in a Dodgeball tournament. If your looking for something to wear out your kids and is fun for the big kids too, then it’s time to get bouncing!
6. Take a swing at mini golf
For a bit of old-fashioned family fun, nothing beats mini golf, and Putt Putt Mermaid Beach on the Gold Coast is definitely one of the best. Discover a hole world of fun with three themed miniature golf courses each offering 18 holes of adventure. Take a walk on the wild side in the tropical Jungle Trail, get amongst colourful characters and tricky motorised obstacles on Fun Run and escape to a tropical oasis playing Waterways. At the 19th hole, a cafe and shops offer refreshments and souvenirs to remember your hole-in-one day.
The Tweed is a treasure trove of endless adventure, with a coastline of world class beaches, ancient rainforests, delicious treats and plenty of thrills to boot. Located only 5 minutes from Coolangatta Airport, 20 minutes from the Gold Coast and 45 minutes from Byron Bay, it is the perfect place to holiday and create special family memories.
