Tweed Coast
The Tweed Coast, known as the Tweed, stretches across 37 kilometres of Australian’s far NSW north coast.
Enjoy uncrowded beaches, world-class surf breaks, the stunning Tweed River, World Heritage rainforest and more. There are charming seaside towns and picturesque hinterland villages in a green caldera, the vast crater of the extinct Tweed Volcano now covered in rainforest and farmland.
Tweed Heads is the main seaside town. You’ll find a fun range of things to do, from rainforest river cruises to deep sea fishing charters, snorkeling, whale watching or simply relaxing on one of Tweeds pristine beaches.
